The
Possessed Action Figure

I have a little action figure. One night Ii lay in my bed having difficulties sleeping. It was a little warm in my house and I sleep better when there is air conditioning, but this time there wasn't any. I managed to fall asleep after two hours of lying in the bed, but I soon was awakened to movement on my hand. At that time, I had a nightstand adjacent to my bed where I kept my crucifix. For some odd reason - I'm guessing because I move in my sleep and I threw my arm onto the nightstand - I felt little small footsteps on my hand. It managed to wake me up, but I was so tired that I ignored it and kept my eyes closed, but I still twitched my hand. Then I grew curious when it continued, so I opened my eyes. To my surprise, I saw my old action figure trying to get my crucifix! Once he saw me open my eyes, he quickly turned around and hopped of the nightstand and ran quickly away. I know i wasn't dreaming because I felt him and heard his little footsteps scatter away on my carpet floor.
The next day at high school, I told my friends. Of course, they laughed at me and said to stay off of drugs. Then one day my best friend spent the night. I had already told him the story, so he wanted to see for himself. We both got tired, so I slept on the bed while he slept on the floor. At 3:00 in the morning, he jumped up and woke me. He shouted, "Dude, I saw him! I saw Deadpool (the name of the toy)! I heard his fast little footsteps and I saw him run under your bed!" I said to him, "I told you" and went back to sleep, acting as if it were nothing. He stayed up and watched some movies because he couldn't return to sleep.
Now that toy rests in the mouth of a preserved alligator head - and I keep a close eye on it.
