The Jumping Shadow

I was spending the night at a friend's house and we were outside enjoying the weather. All night I had told him that I had a creepy feeling about something. It was about 2:00 am and we were looking at the full moon. We started walking around his yard, just talking about what we were gonna do the next day. I got chills all over my body and I turned around, and in a fully moon-lit spot was a somewhat large-sized shadow, low to the ground with no perceptive shape. Before I could realize what was going on or what I even saw, it began to run at me like a "dog" and jumped at me. It came up to about my chest in the air and it disappeared. I could feel shear cold go through my body... and it was gone. I couldn't move or speak for about two minutes. My friend never knew what happened to me - he never saw it.
