The Thing Returns

When I was looking at the photographs on your page, I almost passed out. I had told my parents I had seen something but they didn't believe me. This thing is real. I saw it in front of my window in the front yard at around 1:39 am. I live in Yonkers, New York really close to the Hudson river. This thing is about three and a half feet tall and very strong and persistent. I was terrified when I saw this thing because as it turns out, it had been watching me for a while. I had been watching TV and I was on the couch facing away from the window. The blinds from the window began to bounce around, but I ignored it thinking it was just the wind. For like 20-something minutes, while I as watching the movie, the blinds kept bouncing around and since I had my back to the window and I was watching pay-per-view, I just kept raising the volume because I figured the wind was just picking up.

When the movie ended and I went to get up and close the window, there it was just staring at me with the huge red glowing eyes. It was what had been bouncing the blinds. I ran to my room quicker then I've ever run in my life; even while being chased down by dogs I've never run this freaking fast. I was awake for about the next two days without rest. This thing scared me to death. It's hard to scare me too because I'm a big guy. I'm 6'3" tall, weigh 200 pounds and I'm in pretty good shape. The only reason it didn't get in was because my mom has those metal window safety bars installed with reinforced screws and rivets. Thank God for that. I know it was there because it knocked down the plants from the window sill, some of my mother's plants were trampled down. It tore a small hole in the screen and the bars are kinda loose and you can see that something was pushing on the bars with a lot of force.
