Ghost
Wife's Laugh
by Don Hensley
My first wife died of cancer about six years ago while we were living in Florida. In the meantime, I had just been remarried and moved to Scottsdale Arizona.
One of the things that was most evident in my deceased wife's personality was her laugh. When you walked into a party, if she was there you could hear her laughing above the crowed.
The first month my new wife and I were married, I went to bed early and was sound asleep while my new wife worked in the next room.
She said she heard a woman laughing in our bedroom. She walked into the room and could distinctly hear a woman laughing in the room. I was sound asleep and never heard anything. Eventually, the laughing stopped and that was the last time either of us ever heard it again.
