Instant Replay Experience

One afternoon, my girlfriend and I were entering a building at Michigan State University. We went to the third floor, where my dorm was located. On that occasion, we were also searching for a job, and the receptionist at the front desk had told us about a job opening in the cafeteria, we just had to talk with the manager, who was on the second floor of the building.
So we went to the second floor and entered through the door. A guy was coming toward us with a container, I figured out, to do laundry. We didn't find the manager's location and decided to go to my dorm. We went to the elevator and pushed the button for third floor. When we arrived and the door opened, we were going toward the hall door. But it was the second floor again! We turned out backward to the elevators before it closed completely, and to our surprise, there was this guy approaching toward us with a container. It was the same guy as before!
I got shocked and used the stairs. As soon as I made it to the third floor, I got a notebook and wrote this experience.
