Psychic Plea

This happened to me back in 2000 in Overland Park, Kansas. I was fast asleep next to my husband when I heard my then six-year-old son call out to me. The only problem was, I didn't actually hear his voice with my ears. His voice was coming from inside my head. He was saying, "Help me, mama. Help me." In my head, it sounded like his panicked voice was coming from far away. At this point, I was fully awake and thought I might have been dreaming. So, I sat up in bed and listened closely for him, because I thought that if he had called out to me, he surely would do so again (it was around 5 a.m.). After a few minutes of complete silence, I decided it was a dream and lay back down.
I was just about to doze off when I again heard his voice from INSIDE my head, saying, "Help me, mama. Help." I know this sounds crazy, but his voice was inside my head -- I did not hear him with my ears. I jumped out of bed and ran to his room. Bending over him, I shook his shoulder and said, "Jack, what's wrong? Are you all right?" He looked up at me, still mostly asleep and replied, "I'm sorry, mommy, but I had a dream I fell into a well full of water and was yelling for you to save me."
