Gray Centaur

I have not told many people about my encounter with this creature in the winter of 2000. I was driving home from a nightclub in Philadelphia and nearing my home on Erial Rd. in Blackwood, Gloucester Twp, New Jersey. It was somewhere around 2:00 a.m. and it was snowing heavily that night. I was driving a Ford Explorer at the time and was driving slowly to be cautious on the heavily snowed road.
As I approached my turn to my road, I saw this grayish, four-legged creature dart in front of my truck (probably 20 yards in front of me). At first I thought it was a deer. But upon further examination, I saw it had a man's torso and a man's face, which also was graying. It looked directly at me and then darted into a wooded lot, which happens to run adjacent to my backyard.
I pulled into my driveway and immediately ran into the house, trembling and soaking with sweat. I locked my patio doors in the back and stared out the window facing the woods. Now, I will tell you that I did have something to drink that night, but nothing heavy as I was driving alone. I am not a habitual drinker or a druggie, but I know what I saw. I have been thinking about this thing for a long time and began wondering if there exist somewhere a flock of these creatures.
