The
Street of Gold
When I was 15, my best friend in the whole wide world, T.D., who just happened
to be my ex-boyfriend, was in a car accident. He was in a coma for two weeks on
life support, and his mother eventually took him off. To make matters worse, T.D.
died on Dec. 21 - the day after my birthday. I will always remember that day. I
got so depressed that I laid in bed for a month. I couldn't go to school, I
failed three classes and I lost a lot of weight. I just couldn't do anything. I
didn't care.

Strange
Computer Antics
I'm confused about a strange occurrence with my computer. I have a friend who
believes that she is living with a spirit and that he likes to visit her close
friends while online. I didn't believe it at first, but I do have an open mind.
I've had this computer for about six months now and never noticed anything odd
until last night. My friend asked me to get some information for her about a
medical condition she has. She also warned me that other friends have had
strange problems with their computers after talking to her on the phone, such as
trouble getting to certain cites, being set back to starts of searches or just
not being able to search at all. Well, I decided to give it a try. I got off the
phone with her and started to search for her requested information. To my
surprise, I noticed all kinds of strange numbers and symbols, some I've never
seen before, appear near the top of my search page.

She said, "Don't be scared. He's just visiting you." She calls him Edison because he likes to mess with electricity. |
Plea for Help... Too Late
My mother lived on a farm in Oklahoma for a few years as a child. At the time of
this event, she was only eight, but much older family members have corroborated
her memory of it. One night in 1950, her large family was awakened very late
when they heard a loud knocking at the front door. When my grandfather answered
the door, there was a young, tired-looking Native American man on the porch. He
was very out of breath and he rasped out a story about a car wreck down the road
and asked if they could come help. The young man then left and my grandfather
followed later in the car with one of his sons. They drove down the road, but
never found any sign of a car wreck, so they returned home, perplexed. The next
morning, there were several police cars down the same road the young man had
pointed out where the supposed wreck was. A young Indian man had been shot the
night before, and they found his body near the road. The face in the paper was
the same as the man who had come to the door. The eerie thing was that his time
of death had been long before the time they had seen him on their porch. - Lainie M.
