A Businessman’s NDE
– Anonymous
Before any of the following experiences I was and at times can still be a hard
driving business man. I did not have time for "off the wall" thoughts
or agendas. I own a consulting business that requires you to be on your toes
constantly. I never had the mind set nor the compulsion to consider what dying
meant. At age 45 in 1995, I suffered a massive heart attack and subsequently had
a triple bypass. When I came to after the operation, I had a distinct memory of
moving to another dimension or place if you will. For several months, I thought
this was caused by the drugs, but after analyzing it over and over in my mind, I
came to believe it was something else. I drifted or floated to a place of such
calm it is impossible to explain. There was a blue sky as blue as blue as I have
ever seen. Sometimes today I will look at a blue sky and get a feeling of
calmness. I saw tall grass gently blowing in the wind over rolling hills. But
there was no feeling of a breeze, nor was there any sound. It was so quiet. I
was not walking, but seemed to be floating over the fields very slowly. This
place was filled with warmth, calmness and an unexplainable feeling of
fulfillment and being one with the universe. As I was drifting over the hills so
very slowly and absorbing this feeling of greatest warmth, I saw “frames” of
my children flashing across the horizon. They where not “still pictures,”
but pictures of them looking at me, very worried...
The businessman saw no bright light or angels, but he too is presented
with a difficult choice, which you can read about here.
My journey began as I stood behind a closed door. I
was concerned about not being able to stand there for any great length of time,
and communicated that thought to a beautiful Being of Light who was holding me
up as I waited to enter. I was told that I could not open the door, but that it
would open for me when it was ready.
The Being of Light
– Anonymous
June 22, 1994, was the beginning of a long journey and, eventually, it came to
be held in my heart as the beginning of a new life. I arose early on that day
and immediately headed downstairs to fetch my morning coffee. Two of my sons
were still living at home. I remember wondering if they would hear me call to
them, but they responded within seconds. A ruptured aneurysm in the brain had
caused me to fall down on my living room floor at exactly the same time of
morning, and in exactly the same place as their father had died from a massive
heart attack five years earlier. A call to 911 had rushed me to the nearest
hospital. They assured me that everything that was humanly possible would be
done for me, and their honesty and sincerity enabled me to feel very much at
peace within myself about nearing the end of what I always felt was a very good
life. At some point, I awoke after nine hours of surgery and could comprehend
that I had lived through it. What I didn’t know was that I had been in a deep
sleep for four days, but what I did know was that I had taken a beautiful trip
to the other side of life. My journey began as I stood behind a closed door. I
was concerned about not being able to stand there for any great length of time,
and communicated that thought to a beautiful Being of Light who was holding me
up as I waited to enter. I was told that I could not open the door, but that it
would open for me when it was ready. As the door finally began to open, the
light was overwhelming. I entered a tunnel and had a life review for what seemed
to have lasted only a few seconds. I then found myself being escorted by this
loving Being of Light to the most beautiful garden that anyone could dream
imaginable. I eventually came to a beautiful meadow that I could not cross
alone. I was to wait for my husband to come and take me the rest of the
way...

Around the Corner
– Michael
I was fifteen years old, back in 1975, where I was waiting to swim in the lake
next to our home. As my brother was changing into his swim shorts, I laid down
on the couch. I was only there for a short period when I found myself walking
down a long hallway which seemed never-ending. On either side of this ornate
hallway were identical doors spaced about every five feet apart. I slowed as I
arrived at what I knew was my door off to the left – even though it
appeared indistinguishable from all the rest. The door opened and behind it was
an average-sized room that was lit the same as the hall. I began to enter the
room knowing this is where I should go. But as I got in the doorway, I was
gripped by the sense that I would never see my brother or other family members
ever again. At that point, the light went dark in the hall, while the light in
the room was now coming from around a corner – strange, since the room elbowed
back into where the long hall should have been. I did not want to go any
further! I tried with all my might to resist what lured me helplessly further
into the room. My God... I did not want to see what was around that
corner...
What awaited Michael around the corner? And who does he believe saved
him from that fate? Find out here.
