The first incident was about May, 2006. I was sitting on my boyfriend's couch, which was situated in line with the hallway leading to the back of the house, where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located. We were sitting and talking, drinking coffee, when I saw his eldest daughter walk out of her bedroom, pause, turn and tilt her head toward us, then walk into the master bedroom. I assumed she was going to shower in his bath because it is larger than the other one. I thought nothing of it.
About a half an hour later, my boyfriend said something about his daughter being at a friend's house. I told him she was showering, but he insisted she wasn't home. She was not. I was a little creeped out, but I chalked it up to my eyes playing tricks on me.Fast-forward a few years. My boyfriend and I are married now, and there are "things" that occur. Occasionally, whatever this is -- and I do believe it's a ghost -- will throw something, a penny, a pebble. I underwent surgery September, 2009, and when I got home I went to bed. After a bit, I was kind of being rocked, like when you are lying on top of the covers, and someone pulls on them. Weird, right? I was alone.
My husband and I have several cats and dogs. About a year ago, one of the cats was sitting on the back of the couch behind by husband, kneading his shoulders. He reached back to pet it... no cat! He has been talking about "ghost cat" for a while now, and even given my experiences, I thought he was being silly.
I finally saw it! It was about mid-August, 2012, and we had just gotten a couple of kittens. The rescue kitten was still very attached to his savior, my husband, so he was still in bed with daddy. I set out the cat food, went into the bedroom to grab the cats, four came out. Two big cats, two kittens. They followed me to the kitchen, but one of the kittens was already there... and the other one not to be seen. Things that make you go hmmmm. So far nothing too scary, it just lets us know its around.
