While filming the TV show "Swamp Loggers" in southeastern North Carolina, John Deans and co-workers came upon a puzzling structure that they could not explain. This video suggests that it is in fact a Bigfoot nest -- possibly the freshest such nest found to date. Several similar nests have been found previously in such places as British Columbia, Pennsylvania and Marble Mountain. By comparison, they present photos and video of nest made by gorillas, which are very similar. Some are built on the ground and others in trees.
This is a fascinating video. It's apparent that an intelligent creature built these nests. They have a definite structure, are lined with bedding leaves, have defined entrances and exits, and are surrounded by large piles of feces, presumably to keep out predators. Deer, bears and other forest mammals do not build such nests. So are these Bigfoot nests? It's a possibility, but one that raises some questions: Have the feces been analyzed? It could give an indication of what left it. And if this is a nest, it should contain a LOT of Bigfoot hair, yet there is no mention of it being found. Where is all the Bigfoot hair?
