Larry Surface Bigfoot Video
Background: This video was captured at night with hidden Gen2 "Night Spirit" night vision scope attached to a video camera by Larry Surface, a retiree in southern Ohio in his backyard. The scope-camera arrangement accounts for the pinhole effect. The only light was moonlight. Larry's property borders the Wayne National Forest, and he has been aware of possible Bigfoot activity for some time.
"Infra-red lighting cannot be used," he says, "because I have found that the Wild People can see it, that includes the detection beams on trail cameras. There was close and frequent activity at the research location 2 years ago which immediately stopped when I put up game cameras. It took over a year before they began coming in close again."
By comparing his height in the camera to that of the creature, Larry estimates that it is 6 feet, 10 inches tall.
My first impression upon seeing the video is that the "creature" is a bald, shirtless man. The figure looks quite human.
The problem with the video is that the creature is too close to the camera, not allowing it to focus clearly on whatever it is. It is therefore hard to distinguish whether or not the creature has hair or fur. Because of the green nature of the night vision, we also cannot discern the color of whatever hair it might have. (Larry says he also has hair samples.)
Larry is convinced that he has captured an image of a Bigfoot (or Wild People, as he calls them), but we need to see more to be convinced. Hopefully, the creature or another of its kind will pass before Larry's camera again -- this time at a distance that will give us a clearer look at it.
Until then, we're going to reserve judgment on this interesting video.
