This incident happened in my home to my 12-year-old son, who is now 23. We lived in Christchurch, New Zealand. I was woken by my son who came screaming into my bedroom in the early hours of the morning. The terror on his face said to me something had happened.
When he was able to speak, he said someone was in his bedroom. My husband and I went running in there. There was no one. The windows were closed, the doors were locked, and we could find no evidence of an intruder.
By this time my son was curled up in the fetal position upright in the lounge, visibly scared and shaking. I asked him what had happened and he told me that he had been awakened by someone sitting on his chest and then grabbed him by the throat and dragged him up the wall. He felt paralyzed, could not fight, scream, or move any part of his body except for his eyes.
The next day I took him to a priest who blessed him. This did not work. He was attacked again. We had our home blessed, but my son again said he was attacked. I thought maybe it was all in his head. I took him to doctors, who could tell me nothing really, other than maybe it was a form of narcolepsy. These attacks continued to happen for years. Nobody could help him. Everyone I approached I had to explain in detail what had happened.
One day my sister told me to come with her for a reading. She was off to see a psychic medium. It had been ten years and my son had learned to live with this thing, which he described as an evil-looking old hag dressed in rags with long grey hair that touched the ground and with with black evil eyes.
I decided to go for this reading, and at the end of it the psychic said to me, "Do you have any questions that you would like to ask?"
"What happened to my son when he was a teen?" I asked. That was it; nothing else. She proceeded to pick up on my son's energy and this is what said:
"Hauntings... night terrors... an attachment.... Your son has such a beautiful soul that this evil presence has attached itself to your son."
I was in shock, but knew deep down that this was definitely a spiritual thing and not a medical thing like doctors had tried to tell me. Before I could say anything else to her, she said, "I can help him. I can take this thing off him. Place it into myself and send it where it needs to go."
She works with angels and spirit guides through love. If this has ever happened to you, doctors and scientists and the like call it sleep paralysis or the old hag syndrome. They explain it away, but don't really help in any other way. It is definitely spiritual and not medical. I hope that the many of you out there who need help can finally find relief that there is a way and you don't have to suffer anymore. Just find a reputable psychic medium that can help you.
