This took place in Chino, California; it was about 2007. I was dating a Wiccan who loved faries with a creepy passion. I never thought anything of it. She always told me that I was an elf because of my pointy ears, and explained this whole elf/human population. I sort of believed it because I always felt at home when I was in a forest, plus she said I was the archetype of the tree elf.
I was staying at her house one night, after we went to this Pagan store so she could buy some fairy- attracting candles. Her parents didn't know that we were dating, so I was allowed to stay in her room as long as I slept on her little room couch.
That night I woke up in the middle of the night, to the sound of footsteps. Everyone has swam in a swimming pool before, and knows exactly what it sounds like when bare feet slap cold, solid ground. This is exactly what I heard that night. There was tile flooring in the room.
It wasn't just one pair of feet, it was lots of feet, three to four steps at a time. I didn't see anything, but I was very scared. I jumped on my girlfriends bed, and she woke up and was excited because you could here them running around the bed. She told me they were attracted to me because I was an elf.
A few months before the fairy party, I had woken up in her bed around 6:45 a.m., after she went to work, to the sensation of happiness and warmth. I then felt some little "person" crawl over my legs and lay on my hip. The way I was sleeping was on my stomach where I could not see anything from the waist down, but I felt this person there, like the size of a cabbage patch doll.
I reached down and felt hair, and actually caressed it. During this whole time, I was filled with serenity and was not scared, just at peace.
Eventually the curiosity got the best of me and I jolted up to look down my torso, but there was nothing there when I looked. The euphoria was immediatly gone. I told my girlfriend about it and she lit up again, telling me how she saw a little fairy boy one morning looking at her at the end of her bed until she blinked and he vanished.
I know what I heard, I know what I felt, and I know how sober I was. Even though people think I'm totally full of it, I know these creatures are real.
