EVP: Answering Machine Ghost

"A few years ago I emailed you about a spirit voice on my answering machine tape," says Alan Abramowitz. "Well, I finally made a file out of it and here it is. At the time -- February, 1989 -- I lived in a reputedly haunted house on 6th Ave and Union in Park Slope, Brooklyn. People reported spectres there, but I never saw anything. This woman called about a roommate situation I advertised locally. She was canceling an appointment and paused. In that pause there is a voice that almost impatiently asks, "Yes?". No one was home. I had no roommate at the time. The tape was in a machine by the back window."
