Ghost Hunting Equipment

By Stephen Wagner, About.com

Question: Ghost Hunting Equipment
"I would like to start a paranormal research group in my area, but I have no idea where I can find the equipment and all the rest of things that go along with a start-up group," writes Voni M. "I would be very grateful if you could give me the contact info for some of the companies who sell such equipment. I know there's much more than equipment involved, so please give me all the advice/instructions you feel I need."
Answer: Voni, an Internet search will direct you to several places that sell ghost-hunting equipment, such as Ghost-Mart, GhostStop, GhostStore.net, and many others. And you are right that paranormal research requires much more than equipment. More important is knowing how to conduct an effective, ethical investigation. Some books I can recommend are: How to be a Ghost Hunter by Richard Southall; and Ghost Hunting: How to Investigate the Paranormal by Loyd Auerbach.
