Question: Hearing Whispers

Answer: Assuming you have ruled out any kind of normal explanations for the phenomena, including your imagination, you might try to actually record these voices through electronic voice phenomena (EVP) techniques (which you can learn about in the article, <a href="http://paranormal.about.com/library/weekly/aa020303a.htm">"What You Need to Know About... Electronic Voice Phenomena"</a>). With your voice recorder, try asking questions and awaiting answers, which might only be audible when you play the recording back. You can also try putting the recorder on record, asking the spirit to leave a message, and then leaving your home for awhile. See if a message is left while you're gone. If the phenomena persists, consider contacting a paranormal research group in your area.
