Sea Rabbit

The word "corney" means wild rabbit in Dutch. This unique animal was discovered by Henry Hudson when he first visited the Coney Island area of New Amsterdam. (New Amsterdam is today's New York.) The New York aquarium and the Coney Island Anthropological Institute have been working together to increase this sea mammal's population since the late 19th century.
