Sea Monster

This photo is from a recent cruise that my wife and I took up in Alaska. We had heard a lot of commotion on deck and shouting from the hallway one afternoon. We looked outside our cabin window and we saw something splashing in the water. At first I thought we might get to see a whale or a pod of dolphins, so I quickly grabbed my camera and started snapping photos. In this photo, you can clearly see that something unusual has broken the water. I have no idea what it is, but this thing isn't a whale or dolphin.
