"Last July [2011], my family and I were up at Birch Hill Cemetery here in Fairbanks, Alaska doing some paranormal research," says Miranda. "I grew up in a home with plenty of paranormal occurrences and with a family that is definitely open, so I've always been interested in all aspects of the paranormal.
"We decided to head up to Birch Hill to take some pictures, video, digital recording, do EMF scanning, etc. We actually recorded a couple of interesting EVP, but due to the proximity of the cemetery to a very busy road, none of that evidence was solid. I did, however, take an interesting photograph with a strange white, misty mass in the background. You can clearly see several white crosses in the background, but next to one of them is something else that was not visible to the naked eye. I checked the area to see if there was anything next to that particular cross that would make that image in my photograph and couldn't find anything physical there to explain it. There were no other people at the cemetery at that time.
"In the inset, you can see a white cross on the left and on the right, a white figure that seems to have a defined head with an open-mouth expression, an upper body with short, arm-like protrusions, and a lower body that fades toward the ground.
"It's even more interesting that in the area with the figure, we got some strange readings on the EMF just a few minutes earlier. This is the most intriguing paranormal photograph I've ever taken, so I'd thought I'd share."
