Entity at Devil's Den

I took these two pictures at Devil's Den in early November, 2000. Devil's Den is located at Gettysburg battlefield. Can you tell me what that orange light is? I took the pictures after the sun went down. It was about 9:30 p.m. I was above the Devil's Den near the cannons.
