Christmas Ectoplasm

from Peter Morton
This photo was taken at St. Mary's Church, Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria, England, on Christmas Eve, 2000. There was a torch light procession, fireworks and carol singing. There were also figures of the Three Kings, Mary and Joseph. These figures where in the church ground. When we had the film processed, there was only one of the photos with something strange on the pictures. This was taken some distance away from the display. Could it be a strange phenomenon? Or could it be strange apparitions from many centuries ago? Dalton-in-Furness does have a lot of history. We have shown this photo to some people, including the vicar of the church, a local historian, and we have been on our local TV station, BBC North West Tonight, and also our local radio station. Comments from Local people were: strange, weird, spooky, interesting, and intriguing.

If you look in the picture, can you see on the right-hand side, a horse and rider/knight carrying a sword and a shield, coming towards you? On the left, can you see a person carrying a sword? This person does not appear to have a head. In the middle you can see what looks like a sword. There are also other things in the middle of the photo that we cannot make out.
