I live in Austin, Texas, which is an area that is well known to be haunted. I used to work and still hang out in the main party district known as Sixth Street. According to history, back at the turn of the century, Sixth Street used to be the "Red Light District," and most of the buildings that house the clubs and bars were built back then. My friends and I have witnessed some weird events before, but usually we just explain it away as being buzzed. But once a year I go out with my friends for a week or two but don't drink anything but Coke and water.
March, 2009 was when I decided to do it this year. That is why I can't explain this one away. I went to the restroom of a club that I don't want to name (I don't want to hurt their rep) and heard a noise. I looked around and found I was alone (the club was slow because it was still early). As I washed my hands, I heard the noise again. I know that the bathroom was still empty because I could see the door the whole time since I checked the first noise.
Then, in the other stall, I saw a faint outline of a woman dressed in olden-style clothes, and heard a voice say "Help" very quietly. The woman then vanished.
I went to tell my friends what I saw, and one of my best friends said he saw that same thing last night, but ignored it since he had been drinking. I reminded them that I was sober and hadn't touched alcohol for over a week. We have no idea what happened, but now we tend to wait to use the restroom until we go to another club.
