I'm not a person who believes in UFOs, but when I was 14 years old I saw something that to this day I just can't explain or forget.
This happened in the summer of 1987. The sun was going down over the mountains where my parents live and I was taking in the beautiful sunset. Suddenly I saw on the horizon a small metallic object moving at a very slow speed. It was just hovering above the horizon.
Then it shot itself suddenly at a 180-degree angle in a matter of two seconds, then shot right back to its original position. I strained to hear a motor, thinking it could be a helicopter, but helicopters can't do what this thing was doing. I heard no noise whatsoever.
As I watched it, this thing shot straight up into the atmosphere, leaving a tiny trail of white clouds behind. To this day I have not seen anything that could even remotely imitate what I saw, not even in sci-fi movies. It was just a really weird thing to see.
