This event took place in March, 2007 when I was 17. It took place in the suburbs between Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. I was in the car with my dad and my brother, who would have been almost 15. We were driving down a windy road that went down the hill that we lived on in the late afternoon.
As we were going around the corner, my brother leaned over to the driver's side where I was sitting. I pushed him back because I thought he was just being annoying. He responded that he was trying to look out of my window because he saw something "white and fluffy" in the sky.
"Oh, you mean like a cloud?" I said. I honestly did not believe that he saw anything out of the ordinary. He protested that it wasn't a cloud and that it was a UFO. I just shrugged it off.
Probably less than a minute later when I looked out my window, I saw something in the sky. I pointed at it and said, "Uh... Tyler, is that the thing you saw?"
We both looked up in wonder at the UFO. It was similar to a blimp in size and shape, yet it was white. It made no noise and just floated in place. I thought it was a blimp at first. We drove past a group of trees that obscured our view. When we came to a clearing again, the thing was just gone. Like... poof!.
My brother and I stared at each other in disbelief. Of course my dad who was driving saw none of this. I know that a blimp couldn't fly away out of sight in 10 seconds. It was broad daylight and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. I like to believe that what we saw that day was a ghost of a blimp. My brother likes to stick with it being just a simple UFO. In any case it was certainly one of the weirdest things I have seen in my life.
