This happened many years ago, April of 1961 or around that date. My grandparents went to Riverview in Chicago, and they went through the gates and rode some rides, ate nice food, and they finally came to a Gypsy stand.
The gypsy asked my grandfather if he wanted his fortune read, and he accepted. She took him into her stand, took one of his hands and started tracing his hand creases. She looked at my grandmother and said something along the line of: "I can see that your husband is going come across a fortune. If you stick with this man, you will be the richest woman in your family."
Years later, it seemed it had come true. They discovered high-quality coal and natural gas wells on their land, and are currently in contract with mining and gas companies. This Gypsy prediction did come true, at least.
