It's possible, Dawn, but not recommended.
There are many paranormal researchers who say that you should not use the Ouija board at all because it can open a "portal" to negative energies. I don't think there is much evidence to support this fear. Yes, people have had bad experiences when using the board, but many more have had neutral experiences, and some may have even had positive experiences. (We don't really have any statistics, however.) So it seems that the kind of experience one has with the Ouija board is dependent on the people using it and their intent. In other words, whatever happens is because of the people, not the board.
I suspect that Ouija experiences arise out of the subconscious of the users. So can the board be used to solve problems or get good advice? I suppose it's possible because using it might be able to tap into your subconscious in the same way that dreams do. People sometimes find answers to their problems hidden in their dreams: their subconscious mind has worked out (or knew) a solution.
So my answer is that it might be possible, but I would not recommend it simply because you cannot rely on the answers or advice to be sound or beneficial. You'd be much better off finding solutions or advice from people that you trust and who might have experience with the particular problems you are having.
