2007 WAS JAM-PACKED with extraordinary, unusual, mysterious, and sometimes unexplained events. There were reports of ghosts, elusive creatures such as Sasquatch and lake monsters, psychic phenomena, reincarnation, and even rains of frogs and worms. In other words, it was a typically weird year on planet Earth. Here are some of the top stories that made the news:

JANUARY

Saddam back from the dead
India Daily reported that some people in Baghdad were claiming to see Saddam Hussein’s ghost in Baghdad restaurants, markets and other public places.

Feral boy found in Uzbekistan
A teenager was found in Uzbekistan's mountain eight years after he was reported missing. "The boy acts like a wild animal. He is afraid of everything, cannot speak and only makes snarling sounds," prosecutors said.
