Are we alone? UFOs the topic
In 1952, Navy officer Delbert Newhouse was driving cross-country with his family, a trip that took them through northern Utah the morning of July 2. Around 11 a.m., Newhouse's wife reportedly noticed odd figures in the sky a few miles outside Tremonton. Grabbing his movie camera, Newhouse ended up with some striking images of the unidentified flying objects - images that persuaded the U.S. Air Force, Navy and the Central Intelligence Agency to investigate…

Sleep aberration may play role in near-death experience
So-called near-death experiences – the widely reported sensations, in times of peril, of floating above the body, seeing a white light, and having a sensation of peace – may be related to poorly regulated arousal systems in the brain, according to researchers here. In a case-control study, people who reported near-death experiences were more likely than controls to also report elements of an aberration of the wake-sleep cycle known as REM intrusion, said neurologist Kevin Nelson, M.D., of the University of Kentucky…

UFO ignorance
It's not often one sees an article about UFOs in the mainstream print press or on television these days; when one does, it's usually filled with terms like "believers, pseudo-science, fringe, paranormal, cult, hoax, " etc. On television the reporting of UFO events is generally done in a light comical manner, complete with the "winks, nods and guffaws included." That said, it's no surprise how ignorant the American public "of today" is on the subject of UFO's…

A few days later, his family took him to see the movie, Ghostbusters, and his future was sealed. “I knew it was fake,” Bennage said of the movie, “but I thought to myself, ‘I wouldn’t mind doing that when I grow up'"…

Jersey Devil and Ivan T. Sanderson
One January night in 1909, E. P. Weeden of the Trenton, New Jersey City Council bolted upright in bed when he heard someone trying to break down his door. It was a most unusual “someone,” apparently, because Weeden also heard distinctly the sound of flapping wings. Councilman Weeden rushed to his second-floor window and looked outside. He did not see the intruder, but the sight that greeted his eyes chilled him far more than the icy temperature ever could: In the snow on the roof of his house something had left a line of tracks. And whatever that “something” was, it had hoofs

Getting rid of ghosts
Do you feel the presence of someone or hear “sounds” in your house? Are your children falling sick too often? Unexplainable occurrences – doors opening and closing and lights flickering – could be caused by an unholy spirit in the house or a haunted property. So how does one deal with such paranormal situations? Worried dwellers usually end up selling the house instead of resolving the issue…
