Ghost tours torment residents
Ghost tours are haunting Gettysburg's Baltimore Street homes with noise and litter, two residents told the Gettysburg Borough Public Safety Committee on Monday. Gettysburg officials, who don't have any regulatory ordinances in place to control the ghoulish guides, are struggling to ensure a growing number of companies follow a voluntary compliance policy. Many ghost tour companies are also complaining that their competition is giving them all a bad name…

“The Devil is a Gentleman” explores religious fringe
It isn’t every day you get invited to a slumber party with the Church of Satan, as Chris Hallman discovered while researching his latest book “The Devil is a Gentleman.” Published in May by Random House, the book follows the Margaret Banister Writer-in-Residence on a coast-to-coast odyssey as he spends time with — and sometimes joins the ranks of — American fringe religious groups…

How could the precise measurements have been calculated? How could massive stones be cut with such precision? How could they have been quarried and moved into place?...

UFO pictured in carnival flypast
Amateur photographer Ray Gilbert reckons he caught more than one flying object on camera when a Dakota aeroplane completed a flypast over Grantham Carnival on Saturday. Mr Gilbert, of Montrose Close, Grantham, discovered a mysterious dot on one of the digital pictures he took of the flypast. He said the dot has a flat top and a red rim around it only visible when he zooms in on it on his computer…

Did Gary McKinnon uncover a U.S. off-planet space navy?
"What was the most exciting thing you saw?" I ask. "I found a list of officers' names," he claims, "under the heading 'Non-Terrestrial Officers'." "Non-Terrestrial Officers?" I say. "Yeah, I looked it up," says Gary, "and it's nowhere. It doesn't mean little green men. What I think it means is not earth-based. I found a list of 'fleet-to-fleet transfers', and a list of ship names. I looked them up. They weren't US navy ships. What I saw made me believe they have some kind of spaceship, off-planet”…
