Sasquatch sighting has Grassy Narrows in a buzz
Randy Fobister’s pictures have been circulating through Grassy Narrows like gossip this week. They are of a 15-inch long, six-toed, “big” footprint. Driving to a blueberry picking site Tuesday, about an hour north of the reserve, Helen Pahpasay and her mother saw something they’ve never seen before. “I seen a black, um ... thing,” Pahpasay said. “It was tall and lanky and it was walking towards our way. “I thought I was seeing things, so I didn’t say anything,” she said. “I looked over to my mom and she was rubbing her eyes.” About eight feet tall. Slender. Black as night. Bigfoot was out for a walk...

Inhabitants from the rural area of Taua, Ceara, are scared with the doings of a ‘werewolf’ who is robbing sheep and breaking into houses of the locality. Two cases were registered by the city police this Wednesday, July 9. Despite being a New Moon night this Monday, a woman said to the police that she saw a man “half-man and half-wolf”. On Tuesday, a 12 year old boy also told the police officers that he saw a similar figure near his house...

Night sky images puzzling
A Wangi resident's security camera has captured images of, well, he has no idea what they are. John Brown says one of his security cameras records the tree lined ridge at the rear of his Reserve Road home and normally captures three or four frames throughout the night. But around 3.45am on June 1, his system "went beserk" and recorded some 1200 images...

Joel and Ian Gold, brothers and psychiatrists from Montreal, believe they have discovered a signature mental illness of the YouTube era: patients who claim they are subjects of their own reality TV shows. They have named the malady the "Truman Show Delusion," and though they are in the process of putting together a medical paper on the topic, their discovery is already causing a stir...

Dr. Edgar Mitchell sets record straight
Former man on the moon Dr. Edgar Mitchell found himself in the news today regarding remarks he made on the British radio program Kerrang! about believing in alien beings - and the long-rumored UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico. In the wake of that flap, the American astronaut set the record straight in an interview with Lisa Bonnice, host of BlogTalkRadio’s ShapeShifting, saying that though there was indeed a cover-up at Roswell, NASA knew nothing about it – at least not to his knowledge...

B.C.'s Ogopogo sighted

Kelowna resident Robyn Holman was driving down Highway 97 near Peachland when she noticed a wave in the waters of Okanagan Lake. She snapped a photo and is now waiting to get the picture developed, according to reports...

Real ghost hunting - not that fake stuff on TV
Lesson No. 1: Don't believe what you see on TV. Ghost hunting is boring. There is no traipsing loudly through cemeteries. No spooky séances. No startling at every sound. Real ghost hunting requires hours of sitting in silence and a skeptical mind, explains Jan Gregory, founder of Vancouver Paranormal, to her students. They have gathered in a dark house on a Thursday evening for a four-hour crash course on the basics of tracking and detecting paranormal activity...

Has a real Bigfoot finally been caught?
Is Bigfoot for real? Maybe... A Clayton County Police officer says he and a friend have the body of a Bigfoot. The animal -- a legendary, hairy hominid that supposedly lives in remote forests -- is said to be dead, frozen, and "shocking." Matthew Whitton, a 28-year-old, who has been with the department for six years, and Rick Dyer, a 31-year-old former correctional officer, posted a video on youtube.com, last week, claiming to have the male Bigfoot corpse. Whitton and Dyer co-own bigfoottracker.com, offering exploration expeditions in the North Georgia Mountains. On their web site Whitton and Dyer announced an alleged discovery: "We have located a family of Bigfoot, and besides the clear photos and video, we have something even more shocking, a BODY.”..
