Dear readers, this story happened in March 2010. It takes place in Ellisville, Mississippi. I was alone in my house -- my dad and his wife had left for the evening. I decided to call my best friend and since it was warmer there than the rest of the house, I sat down in my dad and his wife's area of the house (we also live with my grandmother) while I was talking to my friend.
I was in the middle of a sentence when, from the very next room, I heard someone say, "I feel great!" I stopped talking so that I could hear if anyone was talking. The first thought that ran through my head was somebody is in my house -- and I'm the only one here.
A few seconds later, I heard it again. I started freaking out as I got up to search the house and my friend asked what was wrong; I just asked her to please stay on the phone with me. I walked into the room from which I kept hearing the talking and couldn't find anything that could possibly be making that kind of noise. But then I heard a snoring sound right behind me! I turned around and saw a "Sleep and Snore" Ernie doll sitting up in the corner of the room staring at me!
I ran out of that room and slammed their door shut and went into the main living room and even though the door was shut, I heard the doll go off by itself three more times!
