Lifetime of Strange Visions

From around the age of 8 years, I found that I could observe a totally random scene or image in full detail when I lay down and closed my eyes. This oddness was brief in my childhood years and became more active around the age of 20-27. My next experience of this oddness happened in my mid-30s.

Childhood experience. Easter Sunday afternoon. I feel tired and rush upstairs and decide to make the most of my parents' bed. I lay on my stomach and with closed eyes see a vivid scene before me: A lake and beyond it a sloped embankment with people in old-fashioned clothing moving along. There's also odd looking dormer style structures built to peep out of the sloping grass. I decide to look in the direction of the people and see trees swaying softly.

Around the age of 11-12. I go to bed as normal, lie on my back and close my eyes. Soon I drift from thoughts of parents, school, and such and suddenly see dormer-type structures on the moon. They shine a brilliant white. I actually know I'm there looking at them. I can't see any stars in the sky, just gray moon and these odd-looking, brilliant white structures. I seem to feel they are man-made things, which reacts with me feeling puzzled. Then the vivid image is gone and off I go to sleep.

Late teens. Every Friday is a half day in my job. I get home around 2 p.m. I might play a computer game, then crash out and sleep. On this occasion I'm on my side facing the wall... and suddenly a face appears in my mind's eye. Squashed looking, small bumpy nose, sunglasses like eyes. The eyes get closer to mine and I see a trickle of something flowing from the top to the bottom of the eyes!

A lot of paranormal things began to happen in my life, but more for my mother, who was at home in the day. She heard noises upstairs and my stereo system would kick into life without anyone activating it. I began fearing the night almost like a child again, but couldn't tell anyone. One night I awoke and felt something tucking the covers under me. Guess how I reacted to this! I decided this was normal and went back to sleep!

Into my 20s. Many nights I woke up and found I was lying in the bed the wrong way. I started to notice the odd mark on my body and spent ages trying to explain it to myself.

One night I'm sure I saw a kid in my room having some problem with my desk chair. It was small. I caught sight of it and felt alarmed, but then decided to go back to sleep!

The 30s. One Sunday after lunch I felt heavy with food and nipped off for a nap. Put the radio on and lay back with eyes closed. Soon a face generated in my mind without my intention. A smaller member of what I saw in my teens was now here. I looked at it with surprise and amazement. Then the "this is not right" kicked in and I panicked and jumped.

A couple of years later, again on a Sunday, after a long jog in the early morning I showered, ate, and then sat on the floor after a few further bring-me-down exercises. I sat and leaned against he wall and just focused upon my breathing and listened to to radio. With eyes closed a image shot forward. A clay-looking room with arches and a tall, robed figure looking at me. Transfixed, I soon noticed it wasn't human: small nose and nostril, wide black eyes, and baby-like mouth and lips! I felt no harm from it, but again this WTF moment questioned my reality.

Can anyone relate to similar things?
