My name is Amber. I'm 20 years old and I'm living with my parents while I go to college in the good old state of Montana. I've lived in this house since I was 14 years old and have had many paranormal experiences, which I will probably discuss some other time, but this story is important to be told all on its own.
It happened the first time two years ago. I was sitting in my room. I was 18 at the time and had just started college, so I was doing homework. I had the TV on and the desk lamp on so I could read in bed. I felt strange, like someone was watching me, so I looked over to the door and found nothing.
I went back to reading my homework and I got the feeling again, only this time it was more intense, so I looked over to the door again and this time I saw something. It was this shadow crouched over near the dresser, but still toward the door. I thought it was just the shadow from something in my room so I got up and moved things around, but it was still there. By this time I was scared out of my mind. I didn't know what to do.
I couldn't get out of my room because it was near my door. It seemed to be crouched over, moving its head every so often. I decided to run for the door. I didn't care what would happen. I had to fight my way out of this room or be terrified until it decided to leave.
I started toward the door and it stood up. It was about as high as my door knob, so it wasn't that tall. It walked into the shadows and disappeared. The feeling of fear left me, like I was finally safe.
I didn't have any more shadow being experiences for almost two years. Then this past summer, I saw a shadow being twice, two days apart. The first time I saw the shadow being, it was in broad daylight. I was sitting in bed, reading a book when I noticed that something wasn't right with my room.
I looked up at the window and right beside it, a big black shadowy blob was there. It hovered there for a few seconds before disappearing. This time I wasn't frightened, I didn't know why. I didn't feel like it wanted to do any harm or anything so I just continued on with what I was doing.
However, the next evening while I was in bed watching TV in the dark, I noticed that there was someone, or rather -- something -- in my room. It was very tall. A black blob, it looked sort of human in shape as it started toward my bed. I was paralyzed with fear. I couldn't move.
All I knew was that this huge black blob was coming toward me and I was too afraid to move. I remember thinking that I was going to die. It got to the edge of my bed and stayed there for quite a while. It only disappeared when my sister came knocking on my door to tell me I was needed upstairs. I don't know why I keep seeing these beings and I don't know what they want, but they frighten me. Of course, nobody in my family believes me. I just hope they leave me alone, because I'm tired of being afraid to sleep safely in my own room.
