I would like to share my experience of what I think is shadow people, which just happened today (July, 2011). This has happened twice already in past three days.
I am a merchant marine officer working on board an oil tanker in the capacity of second mate. At present we are anchored off Puerto La cruz, Venezuela. It happened first time on July 1, 2011.
After finishing my work, I went to sleep in the afternoon. Sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., local time, I kind of woke up and saw a dark shadowy figure looking at me. I could not ascertain the distance from me, maybe at the foot of the bed. He was visible for a fleeting moment and then vanished when I tried opening my eyes fully and tried to look for him.
July 2 passed without any sighting. I would have brushed off this event as mere imagination of my brain had it not happened again.
Today, July 3, 2011, during same time. The dark outline of his head and shoulders is what I could make out. Nothing else. Surprisingly, I am not feeling scared, but also feeling not brave enough to actually await its next visit or try to communicate with it.
This is the third paranormal experience to date in my life.
