This happened in June, 2004. My mother lived in a house built by my great-grandparents. For years, we knew the house wasn't quite right. Things happened that we couldn't explain. I was buying a new house that was quite large, so I asked mom if she wanted to live with me. She said no, she was fine where she was, and if the "ghost", as she put it, didn't want her there, it would let her know.
Two days later, she said she wanted to move in with me. She said that she had dozed off on the couch and woke up to see an old woman standing in the living room about two feet from her. The old woman told her, "Get out of my house."
That was enough for mom. She moved into my home. She said the ghost let her know.
