Pushy Ghost

BY DAVID H.

By Stephen Wagner, About.com Guide

It was the first time and only time I had an encounter with a ghost or phantom. Before that, I was pretty much a skeptic and non-beleiver.

I beleive it was the summer of 1998, and I was living on an acre just outside Oregon City, Oregon in Clackamas County. I was just getting ready for bed. Nobody was home, and as I lay down on my mattress, I could feel pressure pushing up on my back. At first I was curious, and then another push came that actually seemed to lift me an inch or so off the bed!

Now frightened, I jumped up and turned the light on and stared at the bed where I was lying. Nothing was there. Moments went by. I turned off the light and lay back down. Immediately, another push came, but this time I could feel digits -- as if it were hands. I got up and ran into the living room.

I could feel a presence and I spoke to it. "I know you're here. I'm not afraid of you." Then came a noise from the other bedroom, a crashing sound. I went to investigate and saw the cloest door ajar. I closed it and left. Then a loud burst of music came from the room I was just in. I ran back to the room and turned off the radio (which was on full volume) and noticed the closet door was ajar again.
