Violent Victorian Ghost Girl

This took place in August, 2001, my current home, United Kingdom. When I was around 7, I had already experienced unexplained sounds, electrical appliances turning on and off, volume increasing by itself, and hearing my name whispered in my ear when no one was around. Also, friendship with my Grandma, who had passed away.

One day, at around 5 a.m., I was sitting in complete darkness in my parent's room. My parents were sound asleep in their bed, sleeping after a long day. Bizarrely, I had awakened minutes before and for some reason, I went into their room. I was sitting upright on the end of their bed, comforted by the dog beside me.

I started to feel an intense feeling of being watched; an uncomfortable feeling my siblings and I got in most rooms. Then, out of nowhere, a white floating figure emerged through the wall in front of me. I was paralyzed on the spot, my eyes stuck on the figure.

I recall that it was a girl, a little older than myself with long blonde plaits and Victorian clothing, an apron over a dress. She flew toward me and was over me within seconds, but as she and I were almost face to face, I felt knuckles hit my left shoulder and then a hit to my right arm so hard that I instinctual reached for my shoulder.

I sat there, hand on my shoulder, for hours after the figure vanished. Until my dog ran downstairs, I didn't have the courage to move. I think the hard hit to my shoulder was her way of proof that I had in fact seen her and she wasn't a part of my imagination. I so vividly remember the room, the look of her face, her clothing, and everything about that moment magnified. She has never shown up again.
