Shower Faces and a Warning

I have noticed an unusual thing over the years and I would like to share this with others. It's possible others might experience this and not even notice it.

When I go to get into the shower and put my head back and the water first hits my head, I will see faces of people. This only occurs for a matter of seconds and then is gone. A majority of the time, they are the faces of deceased relatives and sometimes strangers. Most of the time when I see their faces, they have expressions. But say nothing and they are usually just still.

Last summer, however, as I started to wet my hair, I saw my Great Aunt Lorette, also known as "Auntie." Auntie had been deceased for over 20 years and has been greatly missed by me. She always called me "Cricket" as a child, and upon seeing me she would smiling, lean into me, touch my face, and happily say, "Hello Cricket."

She appeared in that moment in the shower, and this time I saw her whole body. She smiled, leaned in, and said, "Cricket!" She then said quickly, "It's going to be a unusual day. Be careful!" She was gone just like that. I swear it was so real, like she was really in the shower with me.

I went on with my day as usual, a gorgeous sunny, summer day. I had been sitting in a chair in the family room giving droppers of formula to some orphaned wild baby animals, when the house went dark as night and a storm rolled in out of nowhere. I didn't have much concern about the storm as I fed the animals, but that's when I heard in my head my Auntie say again, "Be careful!"

I stood up with the babies in my arms and took about 10 steps away from the chair, when a enormous tree came down on the roof and punctured a hole in the roof, right above the chair I was sitting in! Debris came crashing down.

I was so shook up, I didn't think about my Auntie or the shower faces until days later. That's when I remembered my mom telling me one day when I was young how my Auntie was so terrified of storms and Auntie, being very tiny like 4'8", she would hide in a closet during the storms.

I truly believe these shower faces are more then just images in my mind, but somehow the water on the head is creating some type of psychic connection. Next time you shower, think of this story and see if you, too, see shower faces.
