The Exorcism Ghost

BY JAMES DUKE

I was based at the Royal Air Force Biggin HIll in June, 1989 when I witnessed the definite sighting of a ghost. I was lying on top of my bed fully clothed on a Saturday at exactly 2 a.m. I was about to turn the TV off when all of a sudden the room became quite misty and the ghost of a man appeared at the bottom of my bed.

He floated around to the side and his hand touched my chest. He had no facial features; his face was just like a blank TV screen, although I could hear him breathing. I wanted to hit him away or ask what he wanted, but I could not move or speak because of total fear and shock. This lasted for about 5 seconds before the room came back to normal and the ghost was gone.

I darted out of the room and stayed in my friend's room the rest of the night. The next day we went to the NAAFI bar. After a few beers I relayed my story. To my astonishment, the barmaid confirmed there was a priest in their house undertaking an exorcism at the same time I seen the ghost.

No one knew about the priest as it was kept secret. To verify my sighting even more, a girl in the next building to me saw the exact same ghost and had the exact same experience of the ghost appearing at the bottom of her bed, floating round to the side and touching her chest. Since that day, I truly believe in ghosts and think there must be some truth in what we call the afterlife.
