The apparent shards on the exhibited photos of the lunar surface, have been shown to be steam venting into space. The first one I believe was displayed via the Lunar Orbiter program of years gone by. It has been proven the Moon does contain a good quantity of water, that when the Sun light heats these pockets, they vent into space. The other apparent artifacts, also have logical explanations, of which there is no room here to analyze.
