I've seen one show about a car going through a fence without leaving any damage. I was less than impressed.
They showed the area at night and then went on to jump a car over a fence using a dirt ramp, which worked, but damaged the fence. They then removed the tie wires from the fence and drove through the fence which caused the fence to pop off.
They then said that they didn't think that a dirt ramp was present at the subject fence. Why did they use the ramp in the first place since it was not relevant to what happened.
They then replaced some of the tie wires and ran the car through the fence without any damage to the fence and said that this was the answer.
HOWEVER, they did not show the section of the first fence in the daylight nor did they say what condition the fence was in such as missing tie wires, etc.
The first demo should have been with the test fence in exacty the same condition as the subject fence.
This was a poorly documented show and if this is the way they do their investigations, it is meaningless.
I can do a better job myself.
