Your True Tales for May 2012
Name of story:
College Professor's GhostMy Review
Interesting story. I think the author has some latent abilities to see spirits. This is a precious gift. It is sad that our society so fears death that those who have passed on are automatically considered terrifying. Otherwise, this person who wrote the story would be able to appreciate the fact that he/she was given a glimpse of proof of continuing consciousness after death.
I lay much of that blame on our entertainment industry which usually portrays ghosts as malevolent and vengeful.
It sounds as if the professor was not a bad person in life - why should the transition to a different dimensional address suddenly change him into someone to be feared?
We are immortal beings, each one of us and death of this shell is inevitable for each one of us. Yet it is only a transition and we don't lose our character or our personality.
Your advice for the author
Don't be afraid - he was a good person before death and still is.
