What I Did:
I had an OBE while living in Wichita, Ks. I'm from Colorado, and seeing city lights at night is normal in Colorado, but virtually non existent in Ks. I really missed seeing city lights at night, and for about two weeks prior to my experience all I thought about was how I could see the city lights of Wichita, maybe I wouldn't be so homesick if I could have a bit of something familiar. There must be a way, but how? I just wished daily to see those city lights, but I didn't figure it was possible, Kansas being so flat and all.
How I Did It:
So one night while living in Wichita, Ks I went to bed as usual, but a little while later I got up out of bed, walked into the living room, went right through the front window and up into the night sky. I saw light fog all around, and tops of houses in my neighborhood, how cool is this I thought, then I went up higher until I saw the city lights. They were as beautiful as I thought they would be. I kept going up higher and higher into the sky until I could see all the city lights. Then I went even higher, and the lights became smaller, I kept going higher and higher until I got worried and thought I wouldn't be able to get back because I was going up too high. Immediately after the last thought I woke up in my bed.
Lessons Learned
- When the soul yearns for something, it is retained, no matter how seemingly impossible.
