My weird memory
I know I wasn't sleeping. I know what I saw. Yet I cannot explain it to other people without them thinking me weird. I and my son had distintly heard knockings on the outside of our walls of each of our bedrooms one night. Our walls faced the woods. After midnight and dark but I took a flashlight and ventured out back of the house and saw nothing.Couldn't sleep so I read til daylight and then i went to lay down. Since it was daylight I laid face down and put a pillow over my head to try to keep the sunshine from disturbing me. I had been lying there only a short time and I heard a giggle,like from a small child. i froze. I peered out from my pillow and was stunned by what i saw not 4 feet from the end of my bed. Three little figures dancing around in a circle,like a ring-around-the-rosie. Holding each others hands. They were maybe two feet tall at most. Wore clothing made of leaves and bark and had hats on. I told myself I am not dreaming,what are these things. When the one knew I saw them it disappeared and then I felt a weight on my back and the pillow being pushed down onto my head hard enough that I couldn't turn my head. My face partially pushed into the mattress. I squirmed and tried to move but i couldn't. It lasted a couple minutes and then the weight was gone as were the little people. I wasn't afraid even though that little thing tried to smother me when he realized i saw them. my question is= WHAT were they? Leprachans? trolls? Pudwickets?Some other kind of nature beings? At times we still would hear knockings on our walls and I refused to go outside then. We moved shortly thereafter.
Tips and Tricks
- Tips? I don't know. All I know is what i saw and felt and it has stuck in my mind ever since. The area in Wisconsin was in the Kettle Moraine Forest and alot of woods all over that area.
