What I saw
This happened this past winter. It was early in the morning, and my husband and I were in bed. Something woke me up like knocking, but far away and I just thought it was the cats making noise. Then some noise happened again and I thought the cats must be having a fight or something, and still didn't get up. Then suddenly there was a very loud, banging on the wall just outside our bedroom. It sounded like someone was angrily knocking on the wall, or trying to get our attention. I jumped up and went to the window, but there was no one out there.
Where I saw it
This was just after a two foot snow we had this past winter. When we got up to investigate we looked all around the house and there were No marks or tracks of any sort in the snow which had drifted higher than the two feet in the area where the knocking had been. Nothing had fallen on the roof. It was new fallen snow everywhere.
Lessons Learned
- I don't know that I learned any lesson, I was just baffled how "something or someone" could be outside making that much noise banging on our wall and not leave any trace of being there.
