What I saw
This isn't my own story, rather my mother's story.
Where I saw it
Back in the late 70's when we all lived in Israel (I'm STILL here) we'd go visit the ancient town of Ceasaria. The town was built by King Herod during the Roman Empire and was famous for it's magnificent port and lighthouse.
While waking throught the ruins, my mother felt a strange "pull" to one of the houses (or, what was left of it) . Before we left, she took a stone from the ruin and brought it home with her.
A while after that, she started seeing the ghost of a man, dressed in Roman attire. He'd show up in the kitchen and would stand and look at her. She tried to comunicate with him, but to no avail. He would just "phase out" and disappear. This went on for a while and she never got any response from him.
A few years later she left Israel, and it seems that her "Roman" stayed behind, never to be seen from again. Since then, she's seen other ghosts and had other experiences. Seems there's no shortage of ghosts in the UK! (Her current abode)
Lessons Learned
- My mother has had "experiences" of these kinds her entire life.
- I, on the other hand, have never had a single one. I still believe, though. I believe in ghosts, the afterlife AND reincarnation. There has to be SOMETHING out there. Something more then we can physically prove.
- I guess you can call it Blind Faith. That's one thing I DO have!
