- If this photo was taken as early as you say, Melissa, then digital manipulation is unlikely. And the boy looks too detailed to be an illusion, so I think it could very well possibly be a legit photo.

- There is somthing therem the Boy seems to be a flat image,I changed levels with Photo editing programs and the light from the boy compared to the Girls isn`t the same it`s not reflecting in the same way,So I think the boy is a poster,pattern in paint/claening marks..etc I am willing to be corrected or to be in error.Great Spooky image.

- That is really interesting. Spooky too. Not even a question of matrixing as it is so clearly there will all features. Not a blur that we think looks like a face. mmmmmmmm

Boy-in-mirror image
- If this is not an accidental double exposure, then I believe this is an example of pareidolia caused by several factors. First, the shower enclosure, the background of the photo, is glass and the "afro" is the reflection of the shorter girls teased hair (not a shadow, which is visible in the corner of the shower, but a reflection). The face itself looks like another partial reflection, possible of someone standign right outside the door, tot he right of the photographer, wearing a T-Shirt or other garment with the cover art from Michael Jackson's "Bad" album. there is a lot of white trim around the door that would create enough diffuse light to cause a dim reflection in the shower glass. put together, we have an image we see as a mysterious ghost boy.

- When i looked at the pic and noticed a young face,i then noticed hair and i said"it looked like young michael Jackson"I wrote and asked when photo was taken it was in the 80's now i had no idea about this,but i see a young face with an afro hairstyle i have to say im a bit taken bk especially as i didnt know when photo was taken till now.

- The more i look i see a childlike face with an afro type hairstyle.it is quite large.Infact i think without my glassess this image may be a young Michael Jackson when was the photo taken?

Photoshop bonanza
- Just because the photo was taken in the 80's doesn't mean it wasn't scanned into Photoshop and altered. I have to say - it looks really, really fake. Plus - if you say something hasn't been altered, it doesn't matter. That's what people expect you to say when you submit a photo like that.

- I doubt that's a a teen boy. In fact, I'd be willing to bet it's a picture of Jimi Hendrix either printed on something or reflected off of something. Hendrix's image was a popular poster and clothing item back then.

- This is a deceased family member. Either a brother lost to Melissa, or a brother of the mother taking the picture.
