From the article: Bijou Theater Ghost Video
This video, captured by the East Tennessee Paranormal Research Society, was taken in the ladies room of the Bijou Theater in Knoxville where patrons reported paranormal activity. The video shows an anomaly briefly moving across the bottom of the screen. Is it a ghost, a piece of clothing, a reflection... something else? What do you think? Give your opinion

What the object really is

This has been shown to be his digital hand held audio recorder, which he is holding in his hand whille the other hand is holding the video cam. This was pretty much proved on the Ghost Theory website (ghosttheory.com). There, they show comparison pictures that show you exactly what the object is. Go back to Dec. 16 on that site and you'll see how this was debunked. Clever how someone figured it out but also a very simple and logical conclusion. Plus, as you watch the video, you can clearly see him holding the voice recorder and swings it around a couple of times in front of the camera.

I'm not a professional

This man is wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, which you can see as it reflects when he closes the bathroom door. It looks like the cuff of his shirt to me, and not proof of paranormal activity.

Review

First issue: In the video the investigator states he is using a camera that shoots in deep in the IR range. The camera is NOT shooting deep in the IR range. It is a standard NightShot feature on a Sony HandyCam. True IR video would be black and white or reddish-purple in color. The IR that is emitted from the IR lights on the handycam are not powerful enough to penetrate deeply into the IR range. Despite the fact that IR light cannot be seen with the human eyes, it still causes reflections and refractions as does standard light. Second Issue: this is far to solid to be any type of paranormal anomaly. It is definitely something solid and appears to be something being moved just under the IR emitter. Third issue: the ETPRS website (http://www.etprs.com/) has likes to Wikipedia for research on ghosts and claims to be TAPS Family (they have TAPS listed under their family group) and they are NOT TAPS Family. All of this casts doubt upon the authenticity of this video, period.
