The hag punched me.

I was 11 years old and it was a beautiful Saturday morning in TX. I woke up at 6am to get ready to cut our grass, my father demanded all chores be done by 9am, then we can go out and play. So by 8:00am I was done with the yard. I took a shower and got ready to go out and play with my friends, but it was still too early and I didn’t want to wake my friends up… So I sit on my bed and I laid down for about 2 minutes. I laid down flat on my back with my hands on my chest and my hands were overlapping each other. My eyes were closed and all of a sudden I felt this strange sensation and I felt a presence in my room. I opened up my eyes and that’s when I saw her. She was old and a evil looking/feeling lady with a white face and salt/pepper hair with bad wrinkles, she just looked very old and felt evil. It looked like she was floating over my feet and her head was over my knees, so all I saw was her head looking at me. I closed my eyes tightly in terror and I said “Jesus please h

Sleep paralysis / Old Hag syndrome

It happened the first time when I was 14. Couldn't move , didn't understand what it was. I thought I was dreaming but at the same time I knew I was trying to move my arms ... It happened several times after . When I was about 18 I did a bit of research on what had been happening to me. Eventually I Came across some info about astral projection and mentioned if failed at doing so, SP would occur. Though I never knew what either of them were, till then. My most prominent time having to experience Sleep paralysis was last year while laying in bed. I fell asleep pretty quick but to be then woken up with the pressure of a hand on my right shoulder . When could turn about, I saw the old hag.. No joke. She had long cragily grey hair - pale greenish face - long nose , and the most creepiest of it all.. Her eyes were all black and she smiled at me .. Then took off .. And then that's when I snapped out of the paralysis . Scary but 100%. True.

Science explains everything away

With a wave of their collectively terrified hands. The reason that dab tsog and the Night Hag have beenso pitifully explained is because this is an attack by a noncorporeal, etheric entity. This is why modern medicine could do nothing for the Hmong in America following Vietnam, but their traditional shamanic rituals were able to stop the attacks. The simple fact is, there are lots of creatures that exist quite naturally and reasonably within modern frameworks of science, but scientists don't want to look in that dark closet any more than the average person. http://healing.about.com/od/ethericbody/a/human-energy-field.htm Imagine a creature who's existence begins at the etheric body level.

more than just science

I have been experiencing these episodes for almost 20 years now, but did not realize what they were until a few years ago. I find it hard to believe that so many people who experience the symptoms experience the negative energy and often see an old menacing woman. I will awake choking, unable to breath or move and often hear screaming or banging and am unable to help. I never told anyone but my husband about these issues, so imagive my surprise when 2 of my sons both said they have seen an old lady with long grey hair in a long white dress in my doorway. Blessed be those who have never had a light or tv turn on in the middle of the night, or a glass broken when they are home alone, because it can be scary.

high school horror

I been dealing with this since high school or maybe even earlier. When I told my mother sfter several incedents she told me it was in my head. But one day I wad watching the history channel, they described my experiences to a a T!!!I believe I deal with sleep paralysis ..some times its so extreme.I found that certain ways my bedroom set up with the headboard on the same wall of the door way invites more experience so I have live by that.Even though I continue now at the age of 36 to set my bedroom that way..I still have experiences but definitly not as much. Some times years in betwern. The reason why I am writing now is bc I stayed at a friends house where I used to live for 3 yrs..I had this happen last night on the couch.I woke up to loud foot steps coming around the cornerso I went to sit up and look to WHO I THOUGHT WAS MY FRIEND to not being able to move and some one sat on the fake leather couuch where my whole body moved with it...I was completely frozen.I know I was awake!

similar experience

Hi I had a similar experience a few years ago. Just mine was a little different. At that night I was trying to sleep. I was not asleep when I felt the presence of this being. I thought I was someone from my family. I felt it entered from the door but I did not hear the door. After that I felt its huge presence getting closer and closer to me. I was looking to the wall with my eyes closed but when I felt it was close enough I move back to look in front of the bed. Yes I actually could move all my body but when I saw it I was shocked. I thought to myself catch it! but it disappeared before I could move. BTW it looks like ET but smaller. I am pretty sure it was a female. like a really old hag. what do you think? ;D

Sleep Paralysis

Hit enter too soon. Anyway, it is the opposite of sleepwalking. When you sleepwalk your mind is asleep and your body is awake. So we do things we don't recall. 'The old hag syndrome' happens when your mind is awake and your body is still asleep. That is why you can't move or scream. It is frightening when it happens, but I don't panic anymore knowing what it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis

I'm not sire what this was

This just happened..at 4:30 am I remember having a very vivid dream and I was talking bad about a guy I don't like in my dream.. Saying his deceased mother would not be proud of him. As soon as I said that in my dream, I immediately felt something jump on me. It felt like a small animal jumping back and forth on me, I couldn't move or speak, and I could hear it and feel it's tiny feet kick my shoulder. I felt no pain whatsoever I was just scared out of my mind. It lasted about 30 seconds, and when I was finally able to speak my voice was raspy. I need outsider insight on this event, especially since right before I went to sleep I prayed on my knees as I do every night before bed & I asked God to send me a sign if to get over someone or pursue them. That someone happens to be the guy I dislike's best friend. Please help? Was this a good sign? Or did I get attacked coincedently?

3am and the old hag

I have woken 7 days in a row at 3am from bad dreams. These dreams tend to be demonic/satanic in nature. After the 7 days of waking the last dream was about Lucifer falling from heaven to a grave yard, he screamed back up at the sky that he only wanted to go back home. After he was finished he turned to me and told me that I still owe him something. I am not scared of these dream because as of a young age I have been a devote anti-christian. Last night on Sunday on April 29th (2+9= 11, the devils number) I woke again at exactly 3am with old hag syndrome after scarey dreams. I should also mention that I am 29 years old the this year. I was not afraid but more amused then scared I sat up for the remainder of the hour thinking about it and then fell back asleep some time after 4am. I believe that those of us with strong spiritual ties tend to have these events as a warning. Something is not right about our past as we learn more we find that Christianity has lied to us. RESEARCH!

not a hag

I was in bed asleep with my cat beside me..when I felt something! I looked over and there was this beautiful woman with flowing hair and clothes...I felt totally awake and my cat was staring at her! I wanted to lift my arm to touch her but couldn't move a muscle in my body she put a finger to her lips..I kinda wanted her to touch me.and would of let her do just about anything she wanted....now i was getting a little scared and could see my cat staring at her..finally I managed to mow my arm a bit..then she was gone..I sat up but felt like i hAd been awake for a while....the cat was still staring at exactly where she had been! It wasn't really a bad dream..but definately disturbing...mabey i should get a dog as the cat wasnt much help!! perhaps an alien..i think she will be back and in a wierd way I kinda hope so..but then i hope the grim reaper isn't female!!

No dream

Let me explain my experiences. I haven't had these since moving out of my moms. Whenever 'it' happens, I am awake, because I 'cannot' breathe. Like others, I had to force myself to breathe, but i seen no shadowy figures. what I seen was what I still believe was an alien. And unlike others, when it is all said and done, I don't go back to sleep. I get woken up by whatever it is. But i'm 25 now and haven't lived with my mom since 16.

Doesn't bother me too much anymore

I must've been about 13 or 14 when it happened to me for the first time. I was in bed, just about to fall asleep, when I heard this odd buzzing noise. It seemed to start from inside my head and slowly got louder and louder, until it was all I could hear. I tried to turn over and couldn't. Couldn't even move my fingers or toes. I began to panic; my heart raced and I thouht I was having a heart attack. I tried to scream for my sister and couldn't even mumble. Finally, I managed to twitch my pinky finger and that simple motion seemed to break the spell. Until now, I've never known what was wrong with me. It's happened so many times that I've just become used to it, waiting impatiently for it to passs so I can fall back to sleep in peace. The more I try to fight it, the longer it lasts. I can usually tell when its coming when I hear that annoying buzz, and I'm usually ready for it. Its been happening less and less lately, usually only occuring when I'm especially stressed.

Hag

Im 19 years old and from the Bahamas..My mother told me that it happens to my dad and my dads dad (grandfather) it happens to me every now and again but it happend just now (10:30 am). I feel asleep 3 times within the last hour and it happend. IM so used to it that i know/ or feel when it coming on. Although you cant move or scream over the years I've kinda found a lil way to break free. Usaully you whole body is unable to move but apart of your body is free/has the least pressuse..whether it be my mouth, head, feet i try to wiggle or move it as much as i can or my head i try to rock or nod very hard it and my head will move a little but after a while ill be able to shake free. I guess you can try that if it happens again. Like a other victim if you want to call that i read she hears noises, just a while ago when it happend i was laying on the floor to work and my boss was on the phone and iknew what she was saying was english but i couldnt understand what she said :/ ..but yea thats i
